The biggest dream of every dog is to have a warm home and someone who will truly love him for the rest of his life. Unfortunately, most canines are not lucky enough to experience this, and many of them have to settle for a shelter or, at best, a foster home.
Although each of our furry friends has a hard time in their own way, no one can understand the pain of dogs with special needs or those suffering from illness. In addition to having to endure all that misery, these poor beings usually have a much harder time finding a forever home.
One Great Pyrenees from Minnesota knows best how this feels. Despite all the efforts from his foster mom to find him a home, people still kept avoiding him.
The Burden Of His Sad Condition

However, her latest attempt to present this dog to potential adopters was particularly heartbreaking. It truly demonstrated the burden that this poor being has to carry on his back.
Although she had hoped that day might be the lucky one for Olaf, all her hopes were dashed when they got there.
As she explained, there were quite a few people who were interested in this Great Pyrenees.
Unfortunately, as soon as they found out about his sad condition, they would just turn their heads and walk away. It is this reality that simply broke this woman’s heart.
The video caption reveals that sad reality: “Olaf has a neurological condition that causes back leg weakness. He can walk, run & play – he’s just wobbly & struggles with stairs. This has made finding his forever family incredibly difficult. No one wants to large special needs dog.”
It’s not just sad that this dog can’t meet his happy ending because of his neurological condition. The fact that nobody wants him just because he is wobbly and struggles with stairs makes this story even more heartbreaking.
