In an interview with CR Fashion Book magazine on September 20, Angelina Jolie said that she has long enjoyed working with designers and tailors that she appreciates. Therefore, she wants a group of individuals who can inspire ideas and are also working in the field of sustainable fashion.

According to Angelina Jolie, there is only one rule for collaborating with her: Designers must not only create for themselves but also contribute to society, exchanging values and knowledge. Jolie gave the example of the coat she wore on the cover of CR Fashion Book magazine . This is a product of Atelier Jolie and Zolay Sherzad – founder of Zarif fashion brand from Afghanistan – and was woven by artisans from this country. The coat is part of a capsule collection that aims to preserve traditional techniques and promote cultural heritage. This collaboration also supports jobs for women here.



When asked what makes sustainable fashion a “rebellious statement” in today’s fashion industry, the star replied: “For many years, I have always seen the fashion industry being dominated by trends and tastemakers. But for me, self-reflection and choosing a style that suits you with creativity and flexibility is the useful rebellion in today’s era.”
