A terrifying case involving a young girl was reported in recent days, and the outcome was, unfortunately, quite unusual and sad. The victim lived in Mato Grosso, in the Lucas do Rio Verde region, and the incident had a major impact across the country.
The young woman was known locally for her involvement in the criminal world, and her disappearance was widely reported in the local media.
Yasmin Estefânia Alves Ribeiro, just 15 years old, posted photos on social media showing her already receiving threats from acquaintances in the area, who claimed they would attempt to harm her.
Shortly after her disappearance, the Fire Department conducted numerous searches, and during one of them, Yasmin’s body was found in the worst possible condition. The teenager was found in a hard-to-reach area, completely tied up and with severe physical injuries, shocking local authorities.
During the investigation, two people were arrested on suspicion of belonging to a criminal group. Both allegedly kidnapped the young woman from inside the home and took her to the area to commit the crime.
